Mohammed Siraj apologizes to Mahipal Lomror: RCB played their seventh match in IPL 2023 against Rajasthan Royals. In this match played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 7 runs. This match between the two was played on Sunday, April 23. After this match, RCB fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was seen apologizing to his own teammate. Its video was shared by RCB. Let us know why and to whom Siraj apologized.
Why did Siraj apologize?
Actually, Mohammad Siraj was throwing the 19th over during the second innings in the match played against Rajasthan Royals. On the last ball of the over, Rajasthan batsman Dhruv Jurel hit a shot towards the front and wanted to run for two runs. The ball went to RCB fielder Mahipal Lomror. Lomror threw the ball at the non-striker end, but his throw went a little wrong, due to which Siraj could not catch the ball and instead of the ball, his leg hit the stump and the batsman was saved from being run out. On this throw, Mohammad Siraj was seen showing anger on Mahipal Lomror.
Due to this, Siraj apologized to Mahipal Lomror after the match. In a video shared by RCB, Siraj is seen saying, “I am a very angry man. Sorry.. What’s the name Mahipal, please forgive me. I have apologized twice. That anger lasts only till the field, after that it calms down.
Mahipal won everyone with his answer
It was further shown in the video that Mahipal Lomror replied to this of Mohammad Siraj. He said, “Oh okay Siraj bhai, such small things keep happening in big matches.” Everyone liked this answer of Mahipal. What did Siraj say to Mahipal during the match? It was not understood clearly, but reports and social media are claiming that Mohammad Siraj had abused Mahipal Lomror.
