Why drinking plain water is dangerous for health

Drinking water after waking up in the morning is equivalent to extinguishing fire with water. On the other hand, when you drink lukewarm water, it is very good for your metabolism and digestion. But when you drink a lot of water, that too cold and plain water, then it is harmful for metabolism. It is not good for your digestion and it also puts pressure on liver, kidney and brain tissues and damages them. 

Why Ayurveda forbids it

According to Ayurveda, instead of drinking a lot of water at once, sip lukewarm water from a glass. This is called Ushnapana. According to Ayurveda, you should drink only a glass of lukewarm water in the morning. Ayurveda never allows that you wake up in the morning and drink one liter of water on an empty stomach. If you are also one of those people who wake up in the morning and drink a lot of water, then control these habits in time. Always drink one or two glasses of lukewarm water.
