Rahul Dravid Praises Virat Kohli: Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli has achieved another special milestone in his international career. In the second Test match against the West Indies, Kohli also completed his 500 international matches. Kohli is the fourth player to reach this point as an Indian player. On his achievement, the current Team India coach Rahul Dravid also congratulated him while praising him and also told him as a real inspiration for the young players.

Rahul Dravid said that there is no doubt that Virat along with the players of the team is a real inspiration for many people, boys and girls in India. It is very good to see this journey of Virat. He was very young when he played in my time. Whatever Kohli has achieved so far and what he will achieve is nothing less than an inspiration for all of us.

Dravid further said that if Kohli’s performance in all three formats is seen in his career so far, it is the result of his constant hard work behind the scenes. I see their hard work which no one else is seeing. This is the best thing for me as a coach because Kohli is an inspiration for many young players. To play for a long time, you need to have consistent hard work, discipline and an understanding of fine tuning and Kohli has managed to do that so far.

Kohli nears century in his 500th international match

Where Virat Kohli has now reached number 5 in the list of players who have scored the most international runs in world cricket. At the same time, Kohli is the first player to score a half-century in his 500th international match. When the game ended on the first day of the second Test match, Kohli was unbeaten after scoring 87 runs. Now if he manages to score a century in the second day’s play, he will also become the first player to do so in the 500th match.
