India vs South Africa 1st ODI Shikhar Dhawan: The first match of the ODI series between India and South Africa will be played in Lucknow. Team India sweated a lot for this. The Indian team, captained by Shikhar Dhawan, will play a three-match series. Whereas India’s T20 team has left for Australia for the World Cup. For the match to be played on Thursday, Dhawan sweated a lot in the nets, he played many shots.

BCCI has shared a video of Lucknow. In this, Indian players are seen practicing. Team India has given a chance to Rajat Patidar. Rajat worked more on his batting. He can be included in the squad for the first ODI against South Africa. Along with Rajat, Ishan Kishan can also be a part of the playing XI.

Significantly, India defeated South Africa 2-1 in the T20 series. Now the ODI series will be played. After the Lucknow ODI, the second match will be played in Ranchi on 9 October. At the same time, the third match will be held in Delhi on October 11. For this series, India has given opportunities to many young players including Sanju Samson and Rajat Patidar.
