UP Yoddhas vs Gujarat Giants: In the 93rd match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022, UP Yoddha has won a thrilling victory against Gujarat Giants. UP won the match till the last raid by a margin of 35-31. UP captain Pradeep Narwal performed well and completed his 1500 raid points in league history and has also become the first player to do so. UP’s dominance in the first half
UP started the match brilliantly, all out Gujarat in seven minutes and took a 9-1 lead. By the time of half time UP had gone ahead 20-10. In the raiding, UP scored 12 points and Gujarat scored seven points. Both the teams could not do very well in defence. Pradeep Narwal performed brilliantly and scored eight raid points. Rohit Tomar, who came as a substitute, being the only player saved UP from getting all out, but in the very next raid, Gujarat contained UP and reduced UP’s lead to three points. After this UP was continuously struggling and Gujarat took the lead in the match. Gujarat was leading in the last 10 minutes of the game. UP again took the lead with a super tackle.
There was only one point difference between the two teams when the last five minutes were left. With two minutes left, UP made a super tackle and took a valuable three-point lead. Gujarat also made a comeback and made the game interesting for the last minute by taking two points. Rohit took the point and again put UP ahead by two points. UP won the match by doing a super tackle in the last raid.
