NEET UG 2022 Counseling Resignation: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice making it clear that those candidates who do not want to take the seat of round one of NEET UG counseling, they should inform MCC about this. The last chance to give this information i.e. to reject the seat is till Tuesday, November 01, 2022. Today till 5 pm, candidates can register from the seat secured in the first round of NEET UG counselling. Doing so will automatically make them eligible for the second round. However, there is a rule from MCC for this which has to be taken care of.
What is written in the notice
In this regard, the notice issued by MCC states that the last date for reporting for Round One of UG Counseling 2022 was fixed as 28 October 2022. Candidates are informed that they can register from the alloted seat in round one till 5 PM on 1st November 2022. Thereafter, they will be treated as a part of round two counselling. The same rules will be applicable in round two counseling as well as in round one.
Registration letter is required
MCC has also clarified that in order to complete this process, candidates will have to generate the registration letter from the official website of MCC. This letter is given online by MCC, it is necessary. For this, candidates can visit mcc.nic.in. If the candidates do not have the Resignation Letter issued by MCC, then the resignation of the candidates will not be valid.
Make sure your resignation from the seat like this
MCC has said in the notice issued in this regard that, any letter which is not a Resignation Letter issued by MCC will not prove that the candidate has left the allotted seat in Round One. On leaving the seat, they will automatically become a part of round two counselling. This registration letter should be received from the portal of MCC only.
Even if the candidates are registering by sending an email to the colleges, they should also take care that they have the registration letter issued from the MSC portal. This letter should be submitted before 5 o’clock in the evening, only then the seat will be cancelled.
