Thursday is very important for Go First, DGCA’s audit may bring flying

Go First Audit: The date of Thursday 6 July 2023 is very important for Go First. The aviation sector regulator DGCA will conduct an audit of Go First’s facility in the capital Delhi. It is expected that the DGCA Audit Report will also be released on Thursday itself. The audit of GoFirst facility in Mumbai has been done by DGCA on Tuesday, 4th July.

DGCA had said that during the audit, physical verification of all arrangements of airlines will be done to start flight operations along with safety related issues, compliance related to Air Operator Certificate. Based on the audit of Go First, it will be decided whether the airlines are allowed to fly again or not.

Last week, on June 28, GoFirst had submitted the revival plan of the airlines to the DGCA to fly again. Company resolution professionals had met DGCA officials and discussed about the revival plan. GoFirst then said that the resolution professionals have assured the DGCA that it has enough pilots and ground staff to start operations.
