World Best School: A village school in Maharashtra has made it to the finalists of the awards given for the best schools in the world. This school has made it to the top 3 in the list of World Best School Prizes. In the UK, this award is given to selected schools from around the world who have contributed to the progress of society.
PCMC English Medium School, Bopkhel, Pune, will be honored during the World Education Week next month. During this, this school will get a reward of about 40 lakh rupees. This school, in a village in Pune district, is run by the Akanksha Foundation NGO and the public private partnership of the local administration. Most of the students of this school come from low earning families.

PCMC English Medium School, Bopkhel collaborates with local doctors, grocers and religious leaders to create programs that help parents of children attending this school in financial need. T4 Education has given this information. T4 Education, a UK-based digital media platform, announced the award earlier this year.
The prize money of US$ 250,000 will be divided equally among the winners of the five prizes. Each school will receive a prize of US$50,000. Vikas Pota, Founder, T4 Education and World’s Best School Prize said that teachers everywhere will be inspired by the example of this magnificent Indian school.
