When the matter was investigated, prima facie the matter was found to be criminal. Due to this, on Rajkumar’s complaint, sections 505, 469 of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare Act have been registered. In this matter, a notice will be issued to former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. The complainant also told the police that the remarks of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh could create disharmony in the society as well as lead to disputes.

Due to this, a complaint has been made on his behalf as a precaution. It may be noted that a case has been filed against former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh on behalf of advocate Rajesh Joshi at Tukoganj police station in Indore on Sunday.

Digvijay can be punished for 3 to 6 years
Law experts say that if the crime is proved under sections 469 and 505, there can be a punishment of 3 to 6 years. Apart from this, there is a provision of punishment in the sections of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act. In such a situation, the difficulties of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh have increased. According to Advocate Virendra Sharma, notice is served by the police in crimes punishable by less than 7 years.

In such cases, instead of arresting the police, a notice is sent. However, in this whole case, under the court procedure, the accused has to get bail from the court.
