Rajesh Gopinathan holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Trichy. He has also done PG-Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He is credited with getting TCS included in Fortune’s list of Preferred Partners 500 companies. The company this month appointed Gopinathan as managing partner and chief executive officer for five more years. His tenure has been extended from 21 February 2022 to 20 February 2027.

TCS is India’s second largest listed company and the largest IT and software company Is. TCS has been named by American magazine Forbes in the prestigious list of America’s Best Large Employers this week.
