- To prepare mathri, first knead the dough. Sieve all purpose flour and semolina in a vessel. Now mix salt and kasoori fenugreek in it.
- After mixing these things, add 5 spoons of ghee to the flour. Now knead the dough hard with lukewarm water. Keep it covered for half an hour.
- When the dough is set, knead it again a little. Take a dough from the dough and roll it into small puris. Keep in mind that mathri should not be made too thin or too thick. Lightly thick mathri is to be rolled out of roti.
- Now make small holes in the rolled mathri with a fock. Similarly prepare all the mathris and keep them.
- Now heat the oil in a pan and keep the flame of the gas medium. Add mathris to it and fry them till they turn golden.
