MV Ganga Vilas Cruise: The world’s longest river cruise MV Ganga Vilas Cruise will end its journey in Dibrugarh on 28 February. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) had flagged off from Varanasi on January 13, 2023. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of the country has given this information. The ministry said that the cruise is going to cover a distance of 3,200 kilometers in 50 days, reaching Dibrugarh on 28 February 2023 via Patna Sahib, Bodh Gaya, Vikramshila, Dhaka, Sundarbans and Kaziranga National Park.

A reception will also be organized by the Waterways Authority of India on that day at Dibrugarh under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal along with other Union Ministers, Ministers of State, diplomats and officials of both the departments will attend the event. Minister Sonowal said that MV Ganga Vilas has traveled the rivers of India and Bangladesh. He said that tourists who like spirituality got a chance to visit places like Kashi, Bodh Gaya, Vikramshila, Patna Sahib.
18 luxury suites on the cruise
‘MV Ganga Vilas’ is no less than a luxury hotel. In this, passengers are getting facilities like five star hotels. There are 18 luxury suites with ultra modern facilities in this cruise. The cruise is taking about two months i.e. 50 days to reach its destination. Passengers in this got a chance to visit many places in Bihar, West Bengal and Assam. Along with the facilities of library and gym in the cruise, about 40 crew members are serving the passengers.
