The merit list for admission in the academic year 2022-23 will be released on the official website of DU. This is happening for the first time that Delhi University is admitting students to the university on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) examination. The first merit list of Delhi University (DU) will include information such as the rank of the candidate and the number of seats allotted to them. This list has been prepared on the basis of the programs and colleges selected by the candidates.

According to the information, candidates will have to accept the allotted seat in Delhi University between October 19 (10:00 AM) to October 21 (4:59 PM) after the release of the list. If students do not take admission in the allotted course and college during this period, their allotment will be cancelled. Therefore, the candidates have to take admission in the respective college and course before the stipulated time period is over. Thereafter, the college will check the eligibility of the candidate and verify the required documents.

DU will also start performance trials for admissions through Extracurricular Activities Quota (ECA) from Tuesday. For seat allotment under ECA, the combined scores of Common University Entrance Test (UG) – 2022 and performance test and certificate will be used. For ECA score of 75 marks for 12 categories, except NCC and National Service Scheme (NSS), 60 marks will be given on the basis of physical test and 15 marks on the basis of certificates presented.
