India 5G Launch: Prime minister Narendra Modi Launched 5G service for high-speed internet in India on 1 October 2022, the first day of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022. During this, Indian telecom companies also announced their respective 5G rollout plans. Airtel company has also started 5G rollout in India, while Jio company has announced that it will roll out 5G service across India by December 2023. It is being said that the Jio company can roll out its 5G service for some cities by the end of this month. Apart from this, Vi (Vodafone Idea) has also promised that it will soon release 5G service.
BSNL’s 5G service will start on this date
Meanwhile, the state-owned telecom company BSNL (BSNL) has announced plans to roll out its 5G, for which users will not have to wait long. During the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022, Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw (Ashwini Vaishnaw) has shared information related to the 5G rollout. He said that BSNL company is going to start its 5G service in India from August 15 next year.
BSNL’s 5G service will be budget friendly
Apart from this, he also said that in the coming 6 months, 5G service will be made available in 200 cities. The government’s target is that in the coming few years, 80 to 90 percent of 5G service should be reached in India. Along with this, he has also assured that the 5G service of BSNL will be budget-friendly for the users. According to the report of ET Telcom, BSNL’s 5G service will be based entirely on indigenously developed technology and it is expected to compete with Airtel and Jio.
