Looking at Liton’s batting, it seemed that Bangladesh’s dominance had become too much, but the break of about half an hour due to rain broke the rhythm of the Bangladeshi batsmen. Coming to bat after the break, Bangladesh lost the wickets of Liton and second opener Nazmul Hasan Santo early.
Bangladesh’s score, which had scored 66 runs without losing a wicket before the break, was 101 for the loss of four wickets after 12 overs. After seven runs, two more Bangladeshi batsmen had returned to the pavilion and India’s grip on the match was strengthened. The tail batsmen showed struggle till the last over, but could not get Bangladesh to win.
