Team India New Jersey: The Indian team will appear with a new sponsor in place of MPL on its jersey in the T20 series to be played against Sri Lanka. Now the jersey kit of the team will not be sponsored by MPL but by ‘KILLER’. KILLER’s name will appear in place of MPL in jersey. MPL has already terminated the sponsor
In this picture, you can clearly see that instead of MPL, the name of the KILLER brand is visible. MPL was the kit sponsor of Team India till December 2023, but they have given their last contract to KILLER (Kewal Kiran Clothing Limit), a clothing brand. Now this year only his sponsor will be seen on the jersey of the Indian team.
BCCI lost many sponsors in the last few months
Apart from MPL, BCCI has lost many sponsors in the last 6 months. PayTM, which had the domestic rights of BCCI, had given its rights to Mastercard. Apart from this, Byju’s had also informed the BCCI that he may be out before the contract is over.

the first match will be played tomorrow
The first match of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will be played tomorrow (January 3) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After this, the second match will be played on January 5 and the third match on January 7. The second match will be played in Pune and the third in Rajkot. After this, the ODI series will start from January 10.
