Instant Oats Dosa

Material: 1 cup rolled oats ½ cup rice flour ¼ cup rawa 1 tsp salt 2½ cups water 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 inch ginger ½ onion 2 tbsp coriander oil Put one cup oats in a blender and grind them to a fine powder. Take it out in a bowl and add salt, cumin, rice flour and fine rava to it. Add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, minced ginger and garlic and chopped green chillies. Add some water and mix the ingredients together to make a smooth batter. Heat a tawa and carefully pour the dosa batter. Sprinkle some oil and reduce the flame. Cook the dosa till it turns golden brown and fold it. Serve oats dosa with green and coconut chutney.

Oats Pancake

Material: 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup milk 2 eggs a pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp sugar 1 tbsp baking powder 5 tbsp cinnamon maple syrup or vegan coconut Put the oats in a grinder and blend to make a fine powder. Add milk, eggs, salt, vanilla extract, baking powder, sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Mix and prepare a batter. Heat a non stick pan. Drizzle with 1/4 of the cooking oil to grease the surface. Pour a spoonful of batter and spread in a circular motion. Cook till it turns light brown from both the sides. Serve it hot with some maple syrup to top it off.

Oats Idli

Material: 1 cup oats 3 tsp oil 1 tsp mustard ½ tsp urad dal 1 tsp chana dal ½ tsp cumin/jeera ½ tsp ginger paste 2 chillies 1 carrot (grated) ¼ tsp turmeric ½ cup rava / Semolina / Sooji ½ a cup curd / curd 1 cup water 2 tbsp green coriander (finely chopped) ¾ tsp salt Dry roast the oats on a pan and make a smooth powder by putting them in the mixer. Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal and ginger paste. After this, add finely chopped onions, green chillies, grated carrots and finely chopped coriander. Fry by adding 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Now add rava and fry it on low flame. Add powdered oats. Mix well with curd and make a proper idli batter. Pour the batter into greased idli steamer plates and steam for 15 minutes. Serve hot after preparation.
