Tamil Thalaivas vs U Mumba: In the 16th match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022, U Mumba defeated Tamil Thalaivas 39-32. This is the second consecutive victory for Mumba, while it is the second consecutive defeat for the Thalaivas. Thalaivas have played three matches this season and have not been able to get a single win so far.
The match was going on till half the time of the first half where the raiders of both the teams were bringing points. By the end of the first half, Thalaivas were leading 16-15. By the 15th minute of the first half, Mumba seemed to be lagging behind by more points, but Jai Bhagwan did not let his team lag behind by doing a super raid. Narendra Kandola, while applying Super 10 in the first half itself, did not allow Pawan Sehrawat to miss much. For Mumba, Guman Singh showed good momentum by taking seven points.
Within two minutes of the start of the second half, Thalaivas’s team was all out and Mumba had a good lead. For the next six minutes too, Mumba dominated and they took a huge nine-point lead by all-out Thalaivas again. Even with the last five minutes remaining, Mumba had a lead of eight points. Thalaivas tried his best to make a comeback, but Mumba did not give him a chance. Young Narendra Kandola led the raiding of Thalaivas alone with 15 raid points. For Mumba, Guman Singh made 12 and Ashish scored nine raid points. Jai Bhagwan also took seven raid points.
