Bengal Warriors vs Tamil Thalaivas: Bengal Warriors and Tamil Thalaivas played a 41-41 tie in the 55th match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022. This is the fifth tie match of this season. Bengal made a spectacular comeback after trailing 14 points, but the Thalaivas managed to tie the match. Bengal captain Maninder Singh took 19 raid points to his name. Thalaivas took a lead of 12 points in the first half

Thalaivas had held a 26-14 lead till half time. Narender Kandola had once again performed brilliantly and got 11 points. Maninder showed great rhythm for Bengal and had nine raid points to his name. The performance of Thalaivas’s defense was excellent. Mohit had the most four while M. Abhishek had three tackle points in his name.

Maninder Singh made the return of Bengal

Maninder performed brilliantly in the second half to reduce Thalaivas’s lead to just six points within 10 minutes. Narender was unable to walk in the second half and got only two points in the first 10 minutes. Deepak Hooda also helped Bengal well with four raids and a tackle point. Thalaivas’ defense got only one tackle point in the first 10 minutes. With seven and a half minutes left in the match, Bengal all-out Thalaivas and the lead was left with only one point.

Bengal had taken a one point lead with two minutes left, but the Thalaivas had a point lead due to a mistake by Bengal’s defence. Maninder had again put Bengal ahead of one point while raiding two points. The match remained volatile till the last minute and Bengal had a one point lead in the last raid. However, Ajinkya Pawar tied the match by taking a point.
