System changed in Delhi University, now PhD thesis will be submitted online, portal launched

Delhi University Portal For PhD: The rules have been changed for doing PhD from Delhi University. Now to complete the PhD from here, one has to submit the thesis online first. Till now students used to submit thesis offline but now the rules have been changed. Under the new system, PhD thesis will be submitted online. DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh has also launched the portal for this work. Candidates can submit thesis by visiting this portal. anymore Further process will start.

Must register first

For online submission of PhD thesis, candidates have to first register on the portal. Only after that the further process will start. Dean of DU Examination Branch Prof. Talking about this, DS Rawat said that now registration has to be done for submission of PhD thesis.

What will happen in the next steps

First of all, the candidates will register on the portal. After this the supervisor will approve this application. In the next phase, this thesis will be submitted online to the examination department by the appointed examiners on behalf of the Department Research Committee (DRC). After this document verification will take place. After the successful completion of DV round, the students doing research will deposit the prescribed fee for thesis.

Head of the department will approve

The thesis will be approved by the Head of the Department after the fee is deposited in the final stage. After getting their approval, the examination branch will verify the documents and send a list to the VC. After the completion of this entire process, the result of PhD will be issued by the order of the Vice-Chancellor. Candidates will also be able to visit the portal to see the result.

Registration is most important

Remember that the candidate will have to go through all the stages to get the result of PhD thesis. If something is missed at any stage then there will be problem in getting the result. The most important thing is to first register yourself on the candidate portal. From here the work will start, which will proceed in several stages and reach the end.
