An alumnus of Allahabad University (AU) has claimed that he has developed a biosensor which can read corona virus can detect infection. Amit Dubey, 34, working as a scientist at Quanta Calculus, Noida, told that he has developed the world’s first specific and reliable ultra-small gold nanoclusters for biomedical and biosensing applications for the detection of Kovid-19. His effort has raised hopes of an effective and cheap testing kit that can detect Covid infection from a person’s sweat sample.
This research has recently appeared in ‘Luminescence: The Journal of Biological and Chemical Luminescence’, an American magazine published by Wiley. Sharing his research, Amit Dubey said that the biosensor would be a one-step identification or sensing technique. The scientist said that I hope that a new generation of cheap biosensors can be prepared from this research. Significantly, 5,30,740 people have died in India so far due to corona infection. While the number of active patients in the country is 1783. At the same time, 4,41,50,372 people suffering from Kovid have been cured so far.
More than 2 billion people vaccinated
The corona vaccine has done the work of protecting people from corona. Under the Corona vaccination drive conducted across India, 2,20,51,13,973 people have been vaccinated. While 2,44,178 patients have been vaccinated during the last 24 hours. According to a study conducted in Hong Kong, the third dose of corona vaccine i.e. booster dose, compared to two doses, provides up to 90 percent protection from death to people who are suffering from various diseases or health problems. < /p>
The risk of death is less in those who get the third dose!
According to this research published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, between November 2021 and March 2022, people 18 years or older who got the third dose were compared to people who took only 2 doses. It found that people with multimorbidity (more than one disease) had a significantly lower risk of Covid-related death. He received BNT162b2 vaccine, mRNA vaccine and CoronaVac as a booster dose.
