However, if you are consuming it as a healthy nutritious diet, then it is not necessary to leave it. There is no need to abstain from sugar added to homemade sweets (halwa or laddoos), tea, coffee and sherbet during the festive season. You can consume such sugar and stay healthy and fit. One more important thing is to avoid excessive consumption of sugar. Use it only in limited quantity.
