Worship Silbatte on the day of Mithun Sankranti

It is said that Mother Earth resides in Silbatte. That’s why when the mother earth is menstruating, the silbatta is not used for the whole three days. On the fourth day, anointing is done on the silbatta with water and milk. This is called Vasumati Garhwa. After this, the silbatta can be used again only after offering vermilion, sandalwood, fruits, flowers and lighting incense. Silbatta should not be used during these three days. But you can use silbatta for worship. Worshiping Silbatte on Mithun Sankranti removes many problems and fulfills wishes.

On the day of Mithun Sankranti, worshiping Silbatte after bathing in the Ganges fills the empty laps of childless women soon. Those girls who are not getting married due to some reason should worship Silbatte on the day of Mithun Sankranti. This gives desired groom. Along with this, tribute is also given to the ancestors on this day.
