In the crossover match, Germany defeated France 5–1 and then defeated England 4–3 in the penalty shootout in the quarterfinals to make it to the semi-finals.

Both these teams will clash at 4.30 pm today. This match will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Number-2 in the hockey rankings, Belgium had badly defeated South Korea and Japan in their Pool-B. At the same time, his match with Germany was a draw. Due to being on top in the pool, got a place in the quarterfinals directly. Here Belgium defeated New Zealand by 2-0 and confirmed the semi-final ticket.

The Netherlands also topped their pool. Number-3 in the hockey ranking, this team had unilaterally defeated Malaysia, New Zealand and Chile in their Pool-C. In the quarterfinals too, this team badly defeated South Korea 5-1. This is the only team in the World Cup 2023, which has not lost a single match.

The clash between these two teams will start at 7 pm. This match will also be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
