Due to this, the schools of the capital Delhi, NCR and Gurugram have been closed today i.e. 10 July 2023 on Monday. It has been raining heavily in the NCR region for the last two days.

Schools have been closed till July 15 in view of Kanwar Yatra along with heavy rains in Ghaziabad district of UP. Full care is also being taken to ensure that the Kavadis do not face any kind of inconvenience.

Schools have been closed in all the cities of Delhi NCR. Along with this, holiday has been declared in Gurugram, Noida and Faridabad due to heavy rains. This rule is applicable to all schools, in view of which many private schools have made arrangements for online classes. In Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has currently closed the schools only for today. A warning of heavy rain has been issued there even today. Along with rain in Gurugram, schools have been closed due to water logging.
Schools closed here too
In Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand also, schools have been closed at many places due to rain. All schools and colleges in Himachal Pradesh will remain closed on July 10 and 11 in view of heavy rains. Here the danger of land slide, flood etc. is being told.
Similarly, all schools in Haridwar of Uttarakhand will remain closed between July 10 and 17. Schools have been closed here in view of Kanwar Yaksha. Along with Ghaziabad in UP, schools have been closed in Muzaffarnagar as well in view of the Kavad Yatra.
