Sarabjot Singh: India’s Sarabjot Singh has won gold in the Shooting World Cup. He has directly targeted gold in the air pistol event. Please inform that this Shooting World Cup is being organized in India only. Competitions in this World Cup have started from today itself in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
This event is being held at the ‘MP State Shooting Academy’ in Bhopal. There will be separate rifle/pistol shooting competitions in this Shooting World Cup. More than 200 shooters from more than 30 countries have reached Bhopal to participate in this. More than 75 technical officials have also come with them. A total of 37 shooters from India are participating in this World Cup. Of these, 20 are men and 17 are women.

Germany, Israel, America, Japan, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Britain, Hungary, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Lithuania are participating in this Shooting World Cup. Countries like Maldives, Mexico, Romania, Singapore, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Switzerland, Sweden, Uzbekistan are participating.
Indian shooters will face tough challenge from China
China has sent 37 of its players in this Shooting World Cup. Indian shooters will get tough competition from them. Actually, in the World Championship 2022, India’s shooters were far behind China. In that tournament, China won 58 medals, of which 27 were gold. At the same time, India’s shooters could bring a total of 34 medals, of which only 12 were gold.
