No one can easily dominate Pant. That is why the top order batsmen of Team India have to perform well as well as maintain the strike rate.

Referring to Nathan Lyon, Virat Kohli, Rohit and Cheteshwar Pujara, he said, “The biggest challenge before Indian players like Kohli, Rohit and Pujara will be to keep themselves mentally strong against Lion.”

Significantly, the first match of the Test series will be played in Nagpur from February 9 between India and Australia. After this, the second match of the Test series will be played from 17 February. And from March 1, the third match of the Test series will be held in Dharamshala. The last match of this series will be played in Ahmedabad from 9 March. After this, the 3-match ODI series will be played. The matches of this series will be played in Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Chennai. India has included KS Bharat, Ishaan Kishan and KL Rahul as wicketkeeper-batsmen in Pant’s absence for the Test series.
