The city gas distribution unit of the country’s largest gas company GAIL India Ltd has announced to reduce the prices of CNG and PNG (CNG-PNG Prices). The company has reduced the price of CNG and PNG by up to Rs.7.

A few days ago, the central government has changed the way of determining the prices of natural gas. After that, the gas companies are continuously reducing the prices of CNG and PNG. Before GAIL Gas Limited, companies like Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) have reduced the prices of CNG and PNG.

New prices come into effect from today

GAIL Gas Limited said in a statement, the company has changed its pricing system as per the instructions of the Government of India, so that customers can get the benefit of the new domestic gas pricing system. Under this, the company has announced a reduction in prices, which is effective from 09 April.

After the change in prices, PNG of GAIL Gas Limited has now become cheaper by Rs 7 per standard cubic meter in Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada. At the same time, its prices have decreased by Rs 6-6 per SCM in other cities where the company operates. Similarly, CNG has also become cheaper by Rs 7 per kg in Karnataka, while its price has been reduced by Rs 6-6 per kg in other cities.

Dewas, Meerut, Sonipat, Taj Trapezium Zone, Raisen, Mirzapur, Dhanbad, Adityapur and Rourkela after the price change (Rourkela) PNG has become Rs 52.50 per SCM. At the same time, in Bengaluru and Dakshin Kannada (Dakshin Kannada), now its price has come down to Rs 51.50 per SCM.

Similarly, the price of CNG has come down to Rs 85 per kg in Meerut and Sonipat. Its new prices are Rs 92 per kg in Dewas, Taj Trapezium Zone and Dehradun, Rs 82.50 per kg in Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada, Rs 87 per kg in Mirzapur and Rs 91 per kg in Raisen, Dhanbad, Adityapur, Puri and Rourkela.
