New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, in a telephonic conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu on Wednesday, reiterated India’s position on the need to pursue a path of dialogue to resolve the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and told the latter that nuclear weapons should not be used by any side.
According to a report by news agency ANI, Singh pointed out that neither side should resort to nuclear weapons as it goes against the basic tenets of humanity.
According to the report, this comes in the wake of Shoigu flagging Russia’s concerns about the possible use of a “dirty bomb” by Ukraine.
