Now to make the Freight Services of Indian Railways faster, the Railways is going to start high-speed goods trains on the lines of Vande Bharat train. According to media reports, Indian Railways wants to hold its grip on the high-value transport system.

For this, he is planning to start such goods trains. There has been a boom in parcel service in the last few days. In such a situation, Indian Railways is planning to start super-fast parcel services. This will also have a very positive effect on other businesses of the country. For this, Railways will use ‘Freight EMU Rolling Stock’ on the platform made for Vande-Bharat train. In this, the train can pass at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

The train will be designed according to the global standard
Let us tell you that at present the Railways is planning to run this train between Delhi-NCR to Mumbai. Along with this, these goods trains will be designed according to the Global Standard, in which special care will be taken for safety. This goods train will have 1,800 mm wide automatic sliding plug doors. There will be a roller floor system for safe and easy handling of pallets. The total payload capacity of the goods train will be 264 tonnes. This goods train will be manufactured in India only. At the same time, the goal is to make it at a price much less than the global prices. This freight train can prove to be a game changer for India’s parcel system.

4th Vande Bharat train launched today
Let us tell you that on 13 October 2022 the Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has flagged off the fourth Vande Bharat Express train. PM has dispatched this train from Una station. This train will go from Delhi to Chandigarh via Himachal Pradesh. Now the journey from Delhi to Chandigarh can be completed in less than 3 hours. At the same time, last month also, the PM started Vande Bharat Express 2.0 between Gandhinagar and Mumbai. If we talk about the safety features of this train, then this train has automatic anti-collision system armor which protects the train from collision.

Now altogether three Vande Bharat trains are running in the country. It is the target of the Central Government to run a total of 300 Vande Bharat trains in the country, out of which 72 such new trains are to be launched by August 2023. Along with this, keeping in view the convenience of the railway passengers, Vande Bharat is also considering to install sleeper coaches.
