Along with this, the railways is constantly making efforts to make the announcement system work properly at every railway station. Along with this, for the safety of the passengers, the Railways has instructed the hospitals and dispensaries near the stations to be on alert. Along with this, instructions have also been given to fix all the escalators of the railway stations.
Small control room built at stations
Let us tell you that keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, the Railways has ordered to set up a small control room at the terminal stations. In this control room, a room has been made for all the employees of the station’s operation, mechanical, medical, commercial etc. In this small ie mini control room, connectivity and train information will continue to be available from phone, pan room and platform. This control form will be operated from 6 am to 12 pm, so that railway officials can take immediate action in case of any emergency.
Tents being arranged at the station
Along with this, the Ministry of Railways has also informed that the facility of tents for railway passengers has been started at the terminal stations. More than 500 people can sit together in it. It is designed as a temporary waiting room with mobile toilet, inquiry counter, train information displayed on a large LED screen. Along with this, a help desk will be kept for the passengers. This tent will also have the facility of a doctor who will be present in the tent from 6 am to 12 pm.
