Railways has taken a big decision so that passengers can get confirmed tickets during Diwali and Chhath Puja. Indian Railways has decided to operate 179 special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Giving information on this matter, the Railways has said that for the convenience of passengers this festive season, Railways has started a total of 179 pairs of special trains. These trains will make a total of 2269 trips. Through this, common people will be able to get tickets easily on Diwali and Chhath. It is worth noting that every year for Diwali and Chhath, Railways starts several pairs of special trains for Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. In the Railways, it has been decided to start the operation of many trains on routes like Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Bhagalpur and Delhi-Saharsa etc. To book in these trains, you can book by visiting NTES app or IRCTC website.

Railways focus on safety of passengers
Railways is very cautious about the safety of passengers during the festive season. Railways has decided to deploy additional RPF personnel (RPF) at major railway stations. Railway Ministry said that emergency duty of railway police personnel should be imposed for the safety of passengers at major railway stations of the country. Along with this, railways have been instructed to keep ‘May I Help You’ booths running at all times at major stations. Along with this, ambulances with paramedical teams have also been deployed at all major stations so that immediate assistance can be provided in case of any untoward incident.

Method of reservation in special trains-

1. Diwali Or for booking tickets for Chhath Puja, first you click on its app or website irctc.co.in.
2. Then login to your account with Credential.
3. Then click on Book Your Ticket option.
4. Then select the boarding and destination station.
5. After that click on submit option.
6. Now the list of all the trains running in that route will be open in front of you. The name of special trains will also be included in this list.
7. The state of seat availability will also be visible in all. Click on the train in which you want the reservation.
8. Then click on Ticket Booking Now for further ticket booking.
9. Here you have to fill all the details of the traveling passenger.
10. Next you have to enter mobile number, email id and captcha.
11. Payment option will open in front of you. You can make payment through any mode like Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI etc.
12. Your ticket will be booked. Its message will come on your mobile number and email id.
