Dhawan’s batting was excellent last season
In batting too, Dhawan proved to be better than Mayank last season. Dhawan scored 460 runs in 14 matches at an average of 38.33 and was the highest run-scorer for Punjab. Dhawan had three half-centuries off the bat and his highest score was an unbeaten 88. Mayank had scored only 196 runs in 12 innings at a poor average of 16.33. There was only one half-century from Mayank’s bat.
