PSL 2023: 483 runs scored in 38.2 overs, a flurry of records in the match between Peshawar and Quetta


PSL 2023 Records: There was a flurry of records in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators played on Wednesday night. In this match Peshawar’s team batting first scored 240 runs losing 2 wickets, in response Quetta’s team won the match by 8 wickets with 10 balls remaining. It was the biggest successful chase in PSL history. Along with this, many more records were made in this match.

  • Quetta Gladiators opener Jason Roy scored an inning of 145 off 63 balls in this match. This is the biggest innings played by any batsman in PSL so far. Earlier this record was recorded in the name of Colin Ingram (127).
  • Jason Roy also completed one thousand runs in PSL last night thanks to his blistering batting. He touched this figure in just 27 innings. He has now become the fastest batsman to score thousand PSL runs. Before him, this record was in the name of Shan Masood (29 innings).
  • Jason Roy scored a century in 44 balls in this match. This was the second fastest century of PSL. Proteas batsman Riley Rossouw is present here at number one. Riley has scored a century off 43 balls.
  • Quetta’s team scored 88 runs in the powerplay in this match. This was the second highest run powerplay in the history of PSL. Here Quetta’s team is also at number one. Quetta had scored 97 runs in the powerplay in a PSL 2021 match.
