How To Prepare For CUET 2023: The National Testing Agency had released the schedule of CUET 2023 some time back. Accordingly, this year’s exam will be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023. Candidates have to prepare for this exam along with the board exam. By taking care of some small but important things, you can also make a balance and score well in CUET.
understand the pattern first
Before appearing for any exam, understanding its pattern is the first step in preparation. If you prepare well and score well then only you will get a good institute. So first of all check the syllabus issued by NTA. It is completely based on NCERT’s 12th syllabus.
The structure and marking of the exam is also the same as last year. There will be three sections in the paper and 50 questions will come from each section. +5 marks will be given for the correct answer and -1 for the wrong answer.
set your priority
First of all, check the syllabus properly and after seeing how many marks have been given to which unit, set the priority and prepare accordingly. Give preference to the unit on the basis of marks. According to your strength and weekness also decide how much time to give to which part.
make a time table
Make a time-table to utilize your time properly. Note down somewhere how much time to give to which area and by when to finish which topic. This will not cause momentum break.
View previous year model test papers
Candidates who are appearing this year’s CUET exam are advised to go through the previous year question papers. From this you will know that from which topic of which unit more number of questions appeared.
Along with this, see a lot of sample papers and give mock tests. This lets the candidates know their strength and weakness. Work more on the areas where you are faltering.
take special care of these things
Identify all the topics on which you have to focus. Make a strategic plan to cover such topics and revise those topics which are difficult. Give mock tests, from this you will also learn time management. After understanding the paper pattern, choose the right books and start preparing in a systematic way. Go through the previous year’s paper, it will be of great benefit.
