The purpose of Matritva Shishu and Balika Madad Yojana is to provide financial assistance to women for the purpose of giving them rest before and after delivery.
FD facility is available
In this scheme, if a woman gives birth to a daughter, she gets financial assistance of Rs 25,000 and on giving birth to a son, Rs 20,000 from the government. At least 2 months’ salary is given to a laboring woman for abortion. If the first or second child is a girl child, or if a child has been adopted, assistance of Rs 25,000 is also available. Along with this, you can also get this money done in FD. In this, at least 3 months salary is also given as medical amount.
Eligibility required for the scheme
If you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then you must be a citizen of Uttar Pradesh. In this, the age of the female applicant should be more than 18 years. Labor women who are registered will get benefits. The registered worker’s wife can also apply for this scheme. In this scheme only up to 2 children can be availed of financial help.

For application in this scheme, photocopy of bank pass book, registered identity card, birth certificate of child (boy / girl), labor card, Aadhaar card as well as distribution certificate given by medical officer and registration given by Anganwadi program. Proof will be needed.
