Amidst the fluctuations in the price of crude oil in the international market, the oil companies have released the fuel rates in the country today i.e. June 15, 2023. There has been a change in the prices of petrol and diesel in many cities, but at present the prices of petrol and diesel are stable in the metropolitan cities including the country’s capital.
In the country’s capital New Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs 96.72 and diesel is Rs 89.62, while in Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24. Talking about Mumbai, petrol is being sold here at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27. While petrol costs Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter in Kolkata.
Where petrol-diesel became cheaper and costlier
In Noida and Greater Noida, petrol has increased by 18 paise to Rs 96.76 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 89.93 per litre. Diesel is cheaper by 13 paise in Ghaziabad at Rs.89.62 per liter and petrol at Rs.96.18 per liter. Petrol in Prayagraj is hiked by 47 paise to Rs 97.64 per liter while diesel is priced at Rs 90.82 per litre.
In Rajasthan’s Jaipur, petrol has increased by 17 paise to Rs 108.25 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 93.51 per litre. Petrol is 38 paise cheaper at Rs 107.74 and diesel is 35 paise cheaper at Rs 94.51 per liter in Bihar’s Patna.
What is the condition of crude
Crude oil is trading below $70 per barrel in the international market. Here WTI crude oil is at $ 68.25 per barrel. And in the commodity market, Brent crude oil is down by 0.64 per cent at $73.06 per barrel.
