PCB on Ramiz Raja’s Allegations: Rameez Raja was sacked from the post of PCB chairman last week. In his place, Najam Sethi was made in-charge of the 14-member committee, which is currently looking after the affairs of cricket in Pakistan. After this change, Rameez Raja had made some allegations on PCB and the new committee, in response to which the Chief Operating Officer of PCB has tweeted.
Telling the story of his sacking on his YouTube channel, Rameez Raja had said, ‘He attacked the cricket board in such a way that he did not even allow me to take my luggage. At 9 am in the Cricket Board, 17 people were roaming around making money. It seemed as if an FIA raid had taken place.
On this, PCB COO Salman Naseer has written, ‘As the Chief Operating Officer of PCB, I myself collected all the things related to Rameez Raja before Najam Sethi took over the office. All those PCBs have been kept safe in custody and will definitely be returned to them under a process.
All belongings of @iramizraja were collected by me as COO of @TheRealPCB prior to arrival of @najamsethi on the morning of being notified and have been safely kept in PCB custody and will of course be returned as a part of usual handing over/taking over process
