2- Imam ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman

Whereas Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman of Pakistan are on the second number in this list. Both the openers of Pakistan had a partnership of 304 runs. This match was played between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. This is the second biggest partnership in ODI history.

3- Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das

There was a partnership of 292 runs for the first wicket between Bangladesh’s Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das. This is the third largest opening partnership in ODI cricket history. This partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das took place in the match against Zimbabwe.

4- Sanath Jayasuriya and Upul Tharanga

Sri Lankan openers Sanath Jayasuriya and Upul Tharanga are at number four in this list. Both the players shared a partnership of 286 runs in the match against England. This is the fourth largest opening partnership in ODI cricket history.

5- David Warner and Travis Head

There was a partnership of 284 runs for the first wicket between Australia’s David Warner and Travis Head. This is the fifth largest opening partnership in ODI cricket history. David Warner and Travis Head made this record in the match between Australia and Pakistan.

Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly

On the other hand, if we talk about Indian openers, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly are at number 11 in this list. There was an opening partnership of 258 runs between Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. Both the batsmen made this record in the match between India and Kenya.

Apart from this, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly had an opening partnership of 252 runs in the match against Sri Lanka. This is the 13th biggest opening partnership in ODI cricket history.
