CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has shared information related to this on his official Twitter. Ola will invest Rs 7614 crore through its subsidiaries Ola Electric Technologies and Ola Cell Technologies.
3111 people will get jobs
Ola Electric has signed an MoU with Tamil Nadu Government in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Ola is going to set up a plant in Tamil Nadu by investing Rs 7,614 crore. Electric cars and lithium-ion cells will be produced in this plant. Along with this, 3,111 new jobs will be created in the state.

Ola will start mass production of its cells from its upcoming EV hub by 2023. Due to which India will become the hub of EV.
