JEE Main 2023 Exam News: The country’s biggest engineering entrance exam JEE-Main started on Tuesday. On the first day, the BE-B.Tech exam started in two shifts. This exam is being held in 290 exam cities in the country and 18 exam cities abroad. Even with the commencement of the examination, the problems of the students are not taking the name of ending. Many students did not get the admit card till a day before the exam, so some students still do not know when their admit card will be issued or when their exam is.
Career counseling expert Amit Ahuja told that the National Testing Agency is cautious about the JEE-Main exam this year. Due to this, the admit cards of many students who are twins have been withheld. Apart from their names, all the necessary information is same, such as parents’ name, date of birth, year of passing 12th examination and same school name etc. Admit cards of all such students who appeared in the examination on 24 and 25 January were withheld. These students have been informed by NTA through e-mail that these students have multiple applications and admit cards have been withheld considering multiple applications of the same student. Along with this, he has been asked to give an explanation regarding his identity. Only after this the new date of their examination will be issued. These students will be given a date other than 24-25. Such students should inform NTA through e-mail so that they can appear in the examination.
Admit card of twins withheld for the first time
Ahuja told that for the first time in JEE-Mains, admit cards have been withheld due to having twins. As of now, in case of twin applications in JEE-Main, the identity of the twin is taken along with the applicants. After this the admit cards have been issued. Apart from this, the admit cards of such students who have made two applications have also not been issued. They have also been asked to give an explanation about themselves saying that they will appear for the exam only once.
Filled four options, but did not give the exam center
Ahuja told that apart from this, many students are also coming forward who had filled all the four options and out of those options, the students were given examination center in some other city. When these students wrote to NTA, NTA has not released the exam cities yet. NTA has said in response that it will issue the admit card soon. The city can be changed in the admit card. Now looking at this situation, the students are worried that if the exam city is changed then how will the arrangements for travel be made.
