Material
- Urad Dal 4 K
- salt 2 tsp
- Green chilies 4 finely chopped
- Ginger grated 1 teaspoon
- green coriander
- Asafetida 2 pinches
- mustard oil for frying
- curd one and a half cup
- cumin one teaspoon
- turmeric half teaspoon
- Red chili powder half teaspoon
Dumplings Recipe
- Wash 4 cups of urad dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 3 to 4 hours.
- Now grind the soaked dal and 2 to 3 tbsp water in a mixer jar.
- Take out the ground lentils in a bowl, now add salt, green chilies and grated ginger to it.
- Mixing them well, keep stirring the dal continuously for 3 to 4 minutes.
- When the dal swells well, add green coriander and a pinch of asafoetida to it and mix again.
- Now it is ready as batter for pakodas
- Pour mustard oil in a pan and heat it.
- Fry the pakodas in hot oil.
- Then sprinkle some oil on them and fry them till they turn light golden brown.
Kadhi Recipe
- Now beat one and a half cup curd in the mixture jar containing pulses.
- take it out in a bowl
- Add 4 cups of water to it and mix it well.
- In this way the round shape for the curry will be ready.
- Now again put 2 tbsp oil in the pan and heat it.
- Add cumin, grated ginger, finely chopped green chilies, whole green chilies, turmeric powder, asafoetida and fry in oil.
- After roasting the spices, put the curry solution in it and cook it stirring continuously till it starts boiling.
- Now in the meanwhile add one cup of water and crushed red chillies.
- When the curry comes to a boil, cook it while stirring it for a while.
- Kadhi has to be cooked for at least 15 to 20 minutes,
- When it becomes a little thick, add salt and pakoras to it.
tempering method
- For tempering, put 2 tsp oil in a pan and heat it.
- Add cumin seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, whole red chilies, 8 to 10 curry leaves to it.
- Fry it lightly on low flame, add a teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili to it.
- Put this tempering on the curry and stir it lightly.
- Your curry is ready, eat it yourself and also feed it to the guests.
