After this, the Income Tax Department has given permission to the people to fill the form manually. Now taxpayers can fill Form 10F electronically till 31st March 2023.

According to the notification issued by the Income Tax Department on December 12, 2022, non-resident category taxpayers will have to manually fill Form 10F by March 31, 2023, which they were filling electronically in July 2022. According to experts, through this step of the Income Tax Department, the burden of paper work on the people will be reduced. In July, the government made it mandatory to fill Form 10F electronically, so many people who do not have a PAN card were not able to fill the form. Now people who do not have PAN can fill the form manually.
