NCERT Syllabus Change: Syllabus is constantly being changed by NCRT. In this episode, it has now been decided to remove the periodic table from the chemistry books of class 10th. Let us tell you that earlier the National Council of Educational Research and Training has removed Charles Darwin’s Evolution Theory from the science textbooks of class 9th and class 10th. Apart from this, the periodic table was temporarily removed to reduce the syllabus in the time of Kovid-19. But now it has been decided to remove it from the syllabus permanently.
Topics such as Origin of Life on Earth, Source of Energy, Human Evolution and Heredity, apart from Periodic Classification of Elements and Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, have been permanently dropped from the NCERT textbooks. Although the reason for removing these topics from the syllabus is not clear.
students may be in trouble
Teachers and scientists are surprised by this decision of the National Council of Educational Research and Training. He believes that the periodic table is the basis of chemistry. It provides a systematic understanding of elements and their properties. Due to its removal from the 10th class syllabus, students may face difficulty in understanding the essential chemistry principles.
Topic removal is not the first case
Please tell that this is not the first or the second case when the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has removed a topic. The work of removing many topics from the syllabus is being done continuously. On Tuesday, the Union Ministry of Education had said that references to ‘Khalistan’ and ‘separate Sikh nation’ in the context of the Anandpur Sahib resolution have been removed from the Class 12 Political Science books of NCERT.
