To honor Naseem Shah in this way, a special function was organized at the IG Balochistan Police Office in Quetta. During this Naseem Shah was seen in the uniform of Balochistan Police. Naseem Shah looked very happy during this. He said in this function, ‘When I was very young, I was very afraid of the police. My parents used to scare me by talking about the police. As I grew up, I came to know how much the policemen sacrifice to keep us safe.

‘Policemen are deployed throughout the night for our security’
Naseem Shah will now be the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police. He praised the policemen after assuming the honorary post of DSP. He also gave an example. He said, ‘I have a straight and simple example of the sacrifice of policemen. The policemen who are deployed for us in the NCA, stay awake throughout the night for our security. If I don’t sleep one night, I might not be able to do anything the next day. I have a lot of respect for the police and am also very grateful for the help I am getting from them.

These veterans have got such honor
Kapil Dev, the captain of the 1983 World Cup winning team, was awarded the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar joined the Indian Air Force in the year 2010 as Group Captain. At the same time, in the year 2011, MS Dhoni was given the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army.
