Indian Premier League 2023: Indian Premier League Jasprit Bumrah has been officially announced to be out of the (IPL) 2023 season, in which the Mumbai Indians team has decided to replace him with right-arm fast bowler Sandeep Warrier as a replacement player. Sandeep, 31, has played only 5 matches in the IPL so far and has been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team apart from Kolkata Knight Riders.
Talking about Sandeep Warrier, he has already joined the Mumbai Indians team and is also available for the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 2 April. Sandeep also made his debut in international cricket in the year 2021, when he got a chance to play T20 match on the tour of Sri Lanka.
Apart from this, in the year 2019, Sandeep got a chance to debut in IPL for the first time, in which he has managed to take only 2 wickets after playing 5 matches so far. Sandeep’s record in T20 format is seen, so far he has taken a total of 62 wickets in 68 matches.
Bumrah a big blow for Mumbai Indians
Jasprit Bumrah is seen battling back injury before the 2022 T20 World Cup, in which after spending a long time in NCA, it was decided to undergo surgery due to no improvement in his injury. After this, it is not yet decided that for how long Jasprit Bumrah is going to stay away from the cricket field. In the absence of Bumrah in the upcoming season, Joffra Archer will be seen leading the fast bowling of the team.
