WPL 2023- Full Match Highlights: The 19th league match of the first edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) was played between the Royal Challengers Women’s team and the Mumbai Indians Women’s team. In this match, the Mumbai team got an easy target of 126 runs, which they achieved at the loss of 6 wickets in 16.3 overs and once again secured the first position on the points table. Talking about this match, Mumbai Indians women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur decided to bowl first after winning the toss. After this, the bowlers proved the captain’s decision right where the RCB team got the first 2 wickets within the score of 33 runs.
After this, there was a series of wickets falling at frequent intervals in RCB’s innings, in which it had lost its 6 wickets till the score of 95. At the end of 20 overs, the RCB women’s team could only manage to score 125 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. In bowling for Mumbai Indians, Amelia Kerr took 3 wickets while Natalie Siver Brunt and Issy Wang took 2-2 wickets.
