IPL 2023: Teams have come into action even before the start of the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The players’ trading has started before the auction to be held on December 16. Royal Challengers Bangalore have traded Australian fast bowler Jason Behrendorff to the Mumbai Indians team. In the last season’s auction, RCB bought Behrendorff for a base price of Rs 75 lakh. In 2018 also Behrendorff became a part of Mumbai’s team.
Behrendorff has played for three teams in his IPL career so far. After joining Mumbai in 2018, he played for Chennai Super Kings in 2021 and then went to RCB last season. Now once again he has returned to Mumbai. Behrendorff made his league debut for Mumbai in the 2019 season and took five wickets in five matches. Since then, even though he has been a part of the league, he has not got a chance to play a single match.
Auction will be held in Bengaluru on December 16
