According to the report published in Indian Express, the beneficiaries of Mudra Loan are disciplined in repaying the loan. NPA is less in Mudra loan
Since the inception of the scheme, there has been a total NPA of Rs 46,053.39 crore under Mudra loan. In such a situation, the number of NPAs has been 3.38 percent. On the other hand, if we talk about the NPA of the entire banking sector, it has been 5.97 percent. In such a situation, this figure is considered to be very encouraging because in the last few times, the decrease in NPA amidst the sound of Corona epidemic and global recession is very good news.

NPA decline in banking sector loans
According to media reports, a decline has been registered in the NPAs of the banking sector in the financial year 2021-22. This is 5.97 per cent which is better than the last several years. In the year 2020-21 it was 7.3 percent. Whereas in 2019-20 it was 8.20 per cent, 9.1 per cent in 2018-19, 11.2 per cent in 2017-18, 9.3 per cent in 2016-17 and 7.5 per cent in 2015-16. In such a situation, the NPA figure for the financial year 2021-22 has been the best in the last 6 years. In such a situation, this is very good news for the banking sector.

What is PM Mudra Loan Scheme?
The Modi government gives loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh under the PM Mudra loan scheme to make people self-reliant. The government gives this loan by dividing it into three categories. The first Shishu loan which is a loan up to Rs.50,000. At the same time, Kishor loan is available from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh. On the other hand, in Tarun loan, the government gives loans ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. To get this loan, go to the bank with your business related documents. After this the bank will give this loan after all the verification. The age to take this loan is between 18 years to 68 years.
