These figures are based on the data of the last five years. Under this, the data of total 2019 students was collected. Out of these, based on the response of 269 students, the result came out that they did not choose the job of their field.
The study also revealed that Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering are the only branches in which more than 82 per cent students chose a job based on their core competency. While in almost all other branches, students chose jobs in other fields.
